To provide each student with a strong Biblical message oriented to the Pentecostal / Charismatic position in theology and relevant to the contemporary church life and mission

To develop in each student a disciplined intelligence, informed by sound learning and equipped for worthy ministerial service.

To implant a true missionary vision in each student through both field and research experiences.

To promote an atmosphere of Christian devotion which will foster spiritual growth and develop in each student relevant habits of worship and service consistent with Christian maturity.

Shekinah Life Bible College began as a vision of Rev. Henry Liew, National Chairman of The Foursquare Gospel Church of Malaysia (Senior Pastor of Shekinah Community Centre) for the purpose of providing ministerial training for the Foursquare Pastors and Leaders of Malaysia.  This is to prepare the Pastors and leaders for churches and the Christian community to promote the Gospel message more effectively through formal studies.

SLBC is affiliated with and sponsored by Shekinah Community Centre, a member of The Foursquare Gospel Church of Malaysia.  SLBC is also affiliated with Theological Centre for Asia (Singapore) to jointly conduct the MA course in intercultural studies.
